There are a couple of very, very small rock chips and/or scratches here and there, but overall it is in truly fantastic condition. It has roughly 5,100 miles on it

This is a former british army wm20 motorcycle, as used by the british and other forces during world war 2. This one is dated 1941 according to the experts, and has a valid ma title and is inspected, running, and on the road. It is a correct army bike which was used by the army post-war and so has a post-war rear light. It's a good survivor in original paint, complete with blemishes. The front mudguard has been rewelded at the front, for example, and there are various age-related signs of use. I have fitted a large gasoline filter and an on-off oil line tap. These bikes had no gas filters originally, which tended to make for trouble on the road. They also had no oil shut off valve, which meant they leaked more than they had to when parked! I've gone through the engine, the gearbox and the magneto. Flushed the oil tank. I replaced wheel bearings and brake shoes, new tires and tubes, and fitted a correct dummy battery box with a modern battery in it. The lights work as does the dynamo, but the regulator is not reliable, so i have a replacement modern solid state regulator for the new owner. I haven't fitted it yet. I never ride at night so there's been no need. Rebuilt speedo shows 4 miles, true mileage unknown. It usually starts first kick. I'll upload a video tomorrow. This is a wm20 which works fine, has all the necessary paperwork to be legal on the road and looks great. It's 76 years old so don't expect it to accelerate fast. The bsa likes slow gear changes. I just added a picture with the engine number, and a picture that shows the original seat mended with some sort of black tape. It holds up just fine and looks better than a reproduction seat cover. Ride it or put it in a museum and watch it gain in value. See the video links below. 4 Miles✔ 4-speed Gearbox✔ Panniers✔ Seat cover

The rear wheel bearings have more free play than I like.. It was in about the condition as now, although I changed to the correct handlebars and found the horn brackets and cover too
